Roger believes that the best solicitors are those who listen to their clients. Mutual respect and understanding between the client and the solicitor produces the most satisfactory outcome for both parties.

After training and partnership in a large City firm, Roger spent some years doing legal aid crime and civil litigation work, which he combined with his property and commercial practice, as he thought he would be better placed to advise clients of all backgrounds if he had a broad understanding of wider society.

Roger, with another, set up and ran his own law firm for 20 years before joining the firm where he looks after his own long-standing clients and handles the firm's heavier-weight commercial property work. Roger has also run his own commercial and residential property companies during the past 25 years.

Arising from his experience gained over many years as a solicitor, Roger believes that court action is the option of last resort to resolve disputes. Consequently, he became an accredited mediator with some of the leading mediator providers.
