HIPs are History (July 2010)
You no longer need a home information pack (HIP) in order to sell a residential property. You are, however, still required to provide an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). You must at least commission an EPC before marketing the property. The EPC will now be valid for 10 years (previously 3 years).
