Delays and Rent Review (July 2010)
A landlord will not be prevented from triggering a rent review after a long delay, even 13 years, unless time is of the essence. As a tenant do not assume that the danger of a rent review has passed if you have heard nothing from your landlord. In those circumstances it might be advisable for you to trigger the review yourself.
