Latest Legal News - Bribery Act 2010 Update (February 2011)
The Bribery Act 2010, which received royal assent on 8th April 2010 will not now come into force in April 2011 as previously planned. The Ministry of Justice had been expected to publish a document in January 2011 providing guidance to commercial organisations on preventing bribery but it has confirmed that this has been delayed (with no further indication as to when it will now be produced) and that the act will come into force 3 months after publication of the guidance.
